The mission of the Operations Business Analyst on the PizzaHut.com Digital Team is to gather, analyze, categorize, prioritize and manage requirements related to incoming requests, defects, bugs and small enhancements for PizzaHut.com by capturing Epics, Stories, Defects and Acceptance Criteria. The Business Analyst accomplishes this mission by partnering with the customer service team, 3rd party vendors and business to understanding the end user / customer needs, identifying all of the functional and non-functional requirements, and communicating those requirements to the internal or external development Team. The Business Analyst then acts as a proxy for the customer throughout the development, testing, demonstration and release activities to ensure that what the customer needs is delivered into production.

Job Functions:

    - Documented Defects and Bugs defined by the customer feedback as Features / Stories / Defects in Rally and JIRA
    - Categorization and Prioritization of requests and potential issues using standard ITIL processes
    - Take ownership of the ?voice of the customer? to deliver a vision and high level requirements Elicit detailed requirements from the business using standard techniques such one-on-one or group interviews
    - Create initial bugs, defects, and user stories that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements
    - Create acceptance criteria for all bugs, defects and users stories
    - Create clear requirements to recreate bugs or defects and define clear user stories to correct the defect
    - Develop other business analysis artifacts such as business rules or process flows to clarify requirements
    - Groom and prioritize the backlog of bugs, defects, requests and user stories throughout the release and sprint planning cycles for the Digital Operations team
    - Proxy for customer / business during sprint planning and sprints by answering business questions and resolving related issues
    - Create User Acceptance Test strategy and scenarios that the business can use to validate their requirements
    - Create documentation required for production release and support
    - Create visual designs via Photoshop when necessary
    - Modifies HTML / CSS / JavaScript when required as part of the project
    - Identify opportunities to improve processes and grow individuals skills sets

EDUCATION:


    -

    Bachelors (Required)


EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):


    -

    3 years experience in creating technical documentation and presenting information to management level audiences

    -

    Ability to type 60wpm

    -

    3 years proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

    -

    3 years experience with Agile & Waterfall development methodologies

    -

    3 years experience using Rally, JIRA or similar Kanban based software packages
